Ness Electrical have been carrying out electrical installations of all types for many years and have extensive knowledge and experience to help you plan your electrical requirements. We can fit in around other building services and will work closely with an architect, building inspector and project planner as appropriate.

Modern Lighting

We are able to install any kind of lighting both internal and external. There are many reasons why you may want to add or replace your lighting such as your existing lighting system may be old and unreliable. In addition, you may want external security or garden lighting installed.

Consumer Units

We regularly replace consumer units (sometimes referred to as fuseboxes) in homes as often the existing unit is not able to meet current demands or because it is outdated and, in some cases, positively dangerous.

The consumer unit is one of the most important components in any domestic electrical installation. Your existing consumer unit should ideally be fitted with RCD (Residual Current Device) protection. RCDs are potentially life savers and no home should be without them.

We can install a consumer unit from a top quality manufacturer and will carry out all necessary testing and earthing before issuing you with a certificate covering the work done.

New Power Sockets

You either never seem to have enough sockets or they’re in the wrong place and you end up using messy (and often dangerous) extension leads. Extension leads can easily become overloaded and are a frequent cause of fire in the home. They’re also unsightly.

It’s far better to have new sockets installed exactly where you need them and at the same time, take advantage of more modern technology. Many households are now choosing to have power sockets with combined USB chargers given the ever-increasing pervasiveness of mobile devices.
